Synopsis

1.

Break and Enter –09-170518- The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating an unusual break and enter to a residence in Acton.

 

On November 16th between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a home located on Rachlin Dr. The homeowner was out at the time of the entry, however, when he returned home he found that his dog, which he had left inside the house had been let out into the back yard. The victim also noticed that other contents of the house had been moved from one location of the house to other locations in the house. 

 

Nothing was stolen from the home.

Robbery–09-168517- The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred in a residential driveway in Oakville.

 

On November 12th shortly after 9:30 p.m. an Oakville resident returned home to his residence on Agram Dr. The victim had earlier been out shopping and was removing belongings from his vehicle when he was confronted two by males. One of the males approached the victim before punching him in the face. The second suspect stood by but did not approach the victim. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot and ran along Agram Dr. before turning south on Chaplin Rd. 

Contained within the stolen Hallmark shopping bag was a” Precious Moments” figurine of a Bride and Groom.

 

Suspect # 1 is a white male, 6’ tall, 18 -22 years old, no facial hair or glasses, wearing a dark toque, dark waist length jacket, dark pants and white running shoes and described as dirty looking.

 

Suspect # 2 is male 5’5” tall, 18 – 22 years wearing all dark clothing.

 

The stolen property is valued at $ 80.00.

 

3.

Theft–09-148522- The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a theft from a construction site in Burlington.

 

Between October 2ndst and October 5th, unknown suspect(s) entered a construction site at 4350 South Service Rd. in Burlington and removed a 1500 lb portable welding unit. The unit is described as a 1.300 amp. Red-D-Arc welding machine, grey in color,

Serial # YC 990500029.

 

Value of the stolen item is $ 10,000.00

 

 

4.

Break and Enter – 09- 168660 –   The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break in to a local business in Milton.

 

On November 13th shortly after midnight unknown suspects gained entry in Sweeties Café. It appears suspect(s) gained entry to the kitchen area of the Café through a rear ground level window. Once inside the suspect(s) rummaged through the business and only left after stealing cans of pop.

 

Value of the stolen items valued under $10.00.
