Synopsis

1.

Theft from autos–10-26078 and 10-26184- The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating an attempted theft, and a theft from auto in Halton Hills.

 

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Feb 21st, a security guard was sitting in his parked car in the lot of Watchtower Jehovah Witness, located at 13893 Highway 7. The guard observed two unknown suspect(s) approach his vehicle from the west on foot. One of the suspects attempted to open the driver’s side door. The suspects then noticed the guard in the vehicle and both parties fled in an eastbound direction. Further investigation by the Police revealed the suspects had jumped the fence onto Highway 7 on the south side of the property. Suspect #1 is described as male, white, 18 years of age, fair complexion, thin build, 150 lbs, 6 ft tall, he was wearing a dark hoodie pulled over his face. Description for the second suspect is not available at this time.

 

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Feb 21st, a theft from vehicle occurred to an unlocked parked car in the driveway of a home located on Jason Crescent. The suspect(s) stole $40 of Canadian Tire money from the glove compartment. There was no damage done to the vehicle and nothing else taken.  

2.

Theft of a vehicle– 10-30352– Halton Regional Police is investigating a theft of a vehicle in Oakville.

 

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on February 26th, a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Tow Truck, with Ontario license plate 6603WA, was stolen from a commercial premise on Wyecroft Road in Oakville. The tow truck has the words “Search and Rescue" along both passenger and drivers doors. It is also equipped with a loud performance exhaust. A Jer-Din wrecker attachment is fitted on the rear of the tow truck.

 

The persons responsible for this theft arrived at the premise in a 2002-2008 General Motors pick up, light brown or silver in colour, with blue lights on the front of the truck and blue lights surrounding the license plate.  This suspect vehicle also appears to be raised and has a tow hitch attached to it.

3.

Break and Enter– 10-26769– Halton Regional Police is investigating a break and enter to local business in Burlington.

 

On February 21St, surveillance video revealed an unknown suspect made an attempt to gain entry to a door on the north side of the building before entering the rear door of The Black Bull Restaurant located at 1124 Guelph Line. Once inside, the suspect entered the office and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then exited through the banquet area of the premise.

Suspect is described as male, 5’8” to 6’, dark hair. He wore multiple layers on his top, including a dark hoodie sweatshirt with full zippered front, a lighter jacket, dark pants and bright white running shoes.

Break and Enter – 10-25600– The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break and enter to a local business in Milton.

 

Sometime overnight on February 20th, unknown suspect(s) attended Shoppers Drug Mart located at 75 Nipissing Road. It is believed the suspect(s) used a ladder to gain access to the roof top. A man sized hole was cut into the roof which allowed access into the store. Once inside the store, the suspect(s) stole various types of perfume from the display shelves and the storage drawers. Total loss is valued at $30,000.
