Break and Enter–11-001565 - Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break and enter to a local residence in Georgetown.

Shortly after 12 a.m. on January 4th, a Stewart MacLaren Road resident was awoken by a noise on the main floor of his home. The homeowner went to investigate and heard someone run out of his front door. A suspect was observed running westbound on Stewart MacLaren Road towards Mountainview Road.

The suspect is described as a male, white, 5’10” tall. He was wearing a black puffy winter jacket with fur around the hood, black toque, a glove on his right hand and work type boots.

Theft From Auto–12-5492- Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a theft from auto in Oakville.

 

Shortly after 1:30p.m., on January 10th, two suspects attended the parking lot of Tim Horton’s located at 754 Bronte Road. One of the suspects targeted a parked car and smashed the passenger side window. The suspect then fled in a white Dodge Caravan being driven by the second suspect. The Caravan then stopped a short distance away. The first suspect exited the Dodge and returned to the victim’s vehicle where he was observed rummaging through the car. The Dodge Caravan was last seen northbound on Bronte Road.

 

The first suspect is described as: male, white, 35years old, 5’9” tall, slim build, short brown hair, clean shaven. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a bright pink t-shirt underneath and jeans.

 

There is no description for the driver of the white Dodge Caravan.

Theft Under $5,000- 11-212980 - Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a theft in Burlington.

 

Sometime between December 2nd and 9th, 2011. Unknown suspect(s) attended Spencer Smith Park located at 1400 Lakeshore Road and removed a Lakeside Festival of Lights display.

The stolen item is described as a six foot, steel framed, lighted display. The display depicted a small herd of deer. This unique, handmade display has a $2,500 replacement value.

Break and Enter–12-1336- Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break and enter to a local business in Milton.

 

Sometime between December 31st,2011 and January 3rd,2012. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into Cheap Thrills Wheels and Tires located at 250 Martin Street.  The suspect(s) stole several items from the business including a white, 2010 Nissan Titan, 4 door, crew cab, pickup truck bearing license plate 2386YW.  Total loss is unknown at this time.
