Synopsis

1.

Break and Enter – 08-001020 – Halton Regional Police are investigating a break and enter in Georgetown.

 

Sometime overnight on January 4th, suspect(s) entered the Community Living building located at 12 Todd Rd and stole a cash box. The contents of a second cash box were also stolen and include a silver Fuji Film A610 camera and an undisclosed amount of cash. There was no sign of forced entry into the building.

Theft of Vehicle – 08-02144 – Halton Regional Police are investigating the theft of a flatbed in Oakville.

 

Shortly before 2:30 a.m. on January 5th, suspect(s) drove a transport truck onto the property of Moen Inc, 2816 Bristol Circle. The truck was then hooked up to a flatbed loaded with $135,000 worth of faucets. It was last seen southbound on Bristol Circle. The stolen flatbed is described as a 2005 Cheetah, bearing Ontario licence plate B9837W. The total value of the flatbed is $20,000.

Break and Enter – 08-01386 – Halton Regional Police are investigating a break-in at a video store in Burlington.

 

At 5:30 a.m. on January 5th, suspects smashed a door to BlockBuster Video, 2171 Mountain Grove, and stole over $10,000 worth of property. Three cabinets of games and gaming systems were stolen and include brands Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Game Cube, Xbox and Nintendo Wii. This is the second break-in to a video store in as many weeks. The first occurred on New Year’s Day at the Blockbuster store located on Appleby Line.

Break and Enter – 07-113108 – Halton Regional Police are investigating the theft of two transport trucks in Milton.

 

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. on New Years Eve, suspect(s) forced their way into the gated compound of Morrice Transportation, 8155 Lawson Rd, and stole two transport trucks and their trailers. The trailers contained 756 cans of BEHR drywall primer paint valued at approximately $80,000. The two stolen trailers have a combined value of $80,000. Licence plate numbers for the trailers are W91697 and 433175. The two transport trucks, bearing Ontario licence plate numbers PY4815 and PW9428, are valued at $70,000 each and have the words “Morrice Transportation” on the sides in blue lettering.
