HOW CAN I HELP?
New members are needed for the Burlington Neighbourhood Watch Steering Committee. It requires approximately 3 – 5 hours of your time per month. Some of the duties include the following:
a) Submitting informative articles for newsletters, website
a) Monthly meeting usually first Monday of the month 7:30 pm
b) Communicating weekly crime watch information to specific zone co-ordinators.
c) Offering input for goal setting, raising public awareness, media relations.
d) Christmas parade committee. Help is needed in the following areas:
a) Offering creative ideas
b) Material donations
c) Assisting with decorating
d) Documenting events
